Vision check

By Dave Henning / February 10, 2012

In his book Living above the Level of Mediocrity, author Chuck Swindoll states:  “Vision is the ability to see God’s presence, to perceive God’s power, to focus on God’s plan, in spite of the obstacles. . . . I sometimes think of vision as looking at life through the lens of God’s eyes, seeing situations as He sees them.  Too often we see things not as they are, but as we are.  Think about that.” (Cited in A Better Way to Think by H. Norman Wright).  Have you checked your vision lately?

Isn’t it so true, that often times we can get so caught up in a moment that somehow, and some way Satan tries to put blinders on our spiritual eyes? And then, we loose our true focus/vision, I speak from personnal experience, especially with what has been happening in my own life these past couple of weeks.
