After discussing the establishment of predictable rhythms in physical exercise and work, author Bob Merritt (When Life’s Not Working) offers this caveat: rhythms do not exist in a vacuum. He states: “Nobody has the freedom to establish their own rhythm to the neglect of others who work with and around them. . . . . That’s life.”
Certainly that reasoning is applicable to our relationships with immediate family and friends as well as non-work aspects of your life. When you have a predictable rhythm to your life and other significant people also have established their own rhythms, that creates and promotes harmony and efficiency, enabling you to purposefully revision your ministry calling.
